Dr. Landen earned her Bachelors in Psychology with honors, with a Minor in education, from the University of Florida in 1996. 

 

In 2002, she earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with honors from Carlos Albizu University, formerly the Miami Institute of Psychology.  

 

Dr. Landen completed her pre-doctoral internship at Children’s Psychiatric Center, Sunset Unit where she was trained to provide play therapy, psychoeducational testing, as well as family and indiviual therapy.  During this time, she also studied treatment and diagnosis under the staff at Miami Children's Hospital.  

 

Dr. Landen completed her Post-Doctorate training as the Day Treatment Coordinator at Ruth Owens Kruse Education Center, a school for exceptional children. While there, she worked with the staff psychiatrist, psychologist and educators to provide the best course of treatement for mentally challenged and high-risk students.  

 

In 2004 Dr. Landen became the Clinical Supervisor for the Children’s Psychiatric Center, North Dade Unit. After giving birth to her first child, Dr. Landen joined a private practice in Aventura where she remained for 11 years providing therapy and evaluations to children, adolescents and adults.

She now practices in Hollywood, Florida.
